Paxos extends to a total of 7 miles and it can easily be explored by foot, bike, car or boat. It is the utmost place for relaxation. The cosmopolitan capital of Paxos is Gaios, naturally protected by two smaller islands Panagia and Agios Nikolaos. There are two other beautiful ports, Loggos and Lakka. Loggos is a picturesque harbor, 5.5 km from Gaios and 2.5 km from Lakka, with traditional architecture, is sure to charm the visitor. Lakka is built at the northern part of the island in an enclosed bay creating the illusion of a lake.

Antipaxos

Antipaxos are only 3 nautical miles from the port of Gaios. It is an island overgrown with cypresses, pines, vines, etc. where the images of natural beauty captivate the visitor.

Tripitos Arch

One of the most admirable sights of Paxos is the Trypitos arch, also known as the arch. It is a natural rock arch that was formed when part of a sea cave collapsed.

Blue Caves

On the western side of Paxos are the famous Blue Caves, hidden in steep, rocky cliffs that open up to create three beautiful caves, which communicate with each other.

Lakka

The village of Lakka is surrounded by a lush green landscape, whose dense vegetation reaches to the edge of the blue-green sea. Near Lakka there are beautiful beaches such as Monodentri and Harami beach.

Loggos

Loggos is a picturesque village, the smallest of the island, located in the east at a distance of 5 km from Gaios. n Loggos, one should visit the church of Zoodochos Pigi and swim at the beaches of Levrehiou and Marmari.

Castle of Agios Nikolaos

At the top of the island of Agios Nikolaos, opposite Gaios, is the Venetian castle of the same name. The construction of the castle is said to have been completed in 1510 and is the work of the Venetian baron of the island, Adam II.

Mesovrika beach

It is a lovely secluded beach that can be reached only by boat. Its coast is sandy and its water crystal clean. It is located on Antipaxos island and boats go there frequently.

Voutoumi beach

This is a nice sandy beach on the eastern side of Antipaxos. It is ideal for snorkelling and can be accessed by boat from Paxi.

Vrika beach

Vrika beach is one of the most spectacular beaches of the Ionian Sea. It is located in a small cove, in the north of Antipaxos island.

Monodendri beach

This is a pebbled beach close to Logos village. It is partly organized with sun beds and gets quite popular in summer.

Pounda beach

Pounda is generally not crowded and can be reached through a track road or by boat. Also many sailing boats usually moor there.

Logos beach

This is a small and picturesque beach close to the port of Logos. Due to this closeness, it gets very crowded.
